could you share this spec to us? i couldnt found it on your videos

What do you think about using weapon throw vs wd's and barb's? I've heard in your video that you already test it but still you prefer other spec. Why do you think weapon throw is not that good vs wd's?

This is the BvB spec I used, and I rotated stomp with brage, threatening shout, w/e it is that I needed most.

for example, if tanky barb but low dps go brage, but if high dps skorn barb with low ehp go threatening.

I tested WEP throw early early on in PTR and didn't find it useful for several reasons.

It's such a long time ago I don't know where the video where I discuss wep throw is.

It's too easy to be LOS'd and it's just doesn't come into play to be useful vs skilled and geared players.

it's fury intensive unless you use -wep throw gear, which is making you lose out on ehp or not having -fury for rend.

Also when I try to come up with specs, I try to find something that can not get cheesed by other classes going specific counters, wep th row is just too easy to get countered by every class.

what is your setup for bvb? Skorn or 1h + storm? Which one do you prefer and why?

I use 1h-shield.

A 1h-shield will most often than not win vs a skorn barb, missing the 7% damage reduction, and the armor more than anything else is so big for BvB.

Problem is, 1h-shield vs 1h-shield at very high gear levels = forever stalemate until someone decides to starting going DPS or 2h.

Just watch my videos vs joch from the first time he duels me to the second and third.

At first he keeps trying to win but gets rolled and in the end he basically has a mirror of my spec and it was pointless.

Anyone played around to Tal Rasha Brace for the 4% dmg to elites? Found a cheap one with 190 str 80 vit 8%life + 4% dmg to elites, I'm sure they can roll better too.

4 damage to elites sounds pretty insignificant considering those other rolls aren't the greatest compared to other belts.

yeah i got you point. If barb can run they cant kill each other and sometimes if they have not enought dmg they cant kill each other even without running.

Now lets imagine that we have a very very very small area for duel lets say it is this "the broken house" in the middle of the arena (i hope you know what im talking about)

What item setup and spec would you suggest for such a barb vs barb duel to maximalize your chance to win?


and one more question: Can ground stomp be dodged?

imo for bvb u have to have some rules like d2 dueling, but that will have to be developed for ppl that want to gm duel. other wise barb vs barb is a never ending battle if both are geared good.. i have dueld with hota vs a barb as well and it took us 11 mins to finish
