skron with ls. Or run to nex group of mobs kill tem get cd on spirit walk and zoom zoom again. Or throw spiders so u don't take that much damage back where u can outpot them.

thought about skorn, could boost even more the dps & high life leach, but won't have the 20 pick up radius bonus from mojo

loving LS skorn build.. mana is never low vs elites .. getting near 300k buffed and putting out massive crits with bears (1.7m+) and like 700-800k acid cloud crits

also loving chicken rune.. I can crit for like 1m in chicken form with no cast animation

At low mp you should have no issues with reflect damage, they die too fast, you have spirit walk/spirit vessel if needed. But main thing is if elites drop hp very fast, they also drop globes, that counters reflect perfectly.

As for best exp route. People tend to copy alkaizer, while it isn't really optimal route for all classes.
There is few reasons why alkaizer picked that specific run.
First thing, in areas where ge is getting 5nv, he picked specifically these areas without spawn of occultist (which are not bad if you are ranged class that one shots everything like wd).
Another thing is, he skips rakkis crossing and stnefort/skycrown, for very specific reason: fallens that run away if something dies suck for ww barb. People asked him that on stream, he said, he doesn't like these areas because enemies run away.
But again, if you are spamming acid rain type of nova, it really doesn't matter, you can one shot entire screen of fallens, they can't run away, they can't slow you down.

So in case of wd, I'm unsure if that is best possible run.
For sure adding rakkis crossing is good for it, it is perfect area for this build. Stonefort is questionable because it is just long run, lack of consistent movement speed can hurt there. Exp per zone is good, but if it is time efficient not sure.
I would consider doing keeps level 3 for getting nv stacks as well, very small map, lot of packs there.
Also crater level 1 as end of run, since only problem of this area are dead ends. But as long as you run and find new mobs it is just like crater 2, tons of exp from scorpions. Just once you run into dead end, tp out/end run. But there is no reason to not do a final run from wp in this area till first dead end or exit of level, exp there is decent.

i actually tend to do rakkis now as well because i saw a balance in xp/hour there, and i tend to get a lot of legends in that area as well as follow through to fields.

Love the thread. Helped me decide what I wanted to do with my HC WD.

Quick question regarding weapons though. If I'm correct in assuming only the pure weapon damage (not the dps figure that is adjusted by attack speed) affects ability damage, along with int/crit of course, is there any reason for me to not use the slowest 1h with my TotD? I just started up after having not played since June, so pardon the mechanics question.

Everything in HC is very expensive, which means getting the 4 piece Zuni bonus isn't likely for a while. So, getting higher damage casts are seemingly more important to me than casting speed.

yes a slower 1h wep will yield higher damage attacks thus requiring less mana, so it is beneficial in that sense.

If you can keep speed up while dealing with slightly slower animation, this is the only con.

Can this build be done on a low budget?
This is my current equipment:
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Chaos-2638/hero/11916681

(I used to be a pet doctor in 1.0.3, tried to use old equipment into a new build in 1.0.4 and quitted, trying to get back in :P)

and is crit really important to hit the 70K threshold?

i did ths build "modified"
the big thing is u dont ahve the mana regen to run tru like he does. or the gold to get the items he got.
so what i did was get homunkulus mojo and head with cdr on zombiedogs, as much as possible. it doesnt has to be 31~ secs , so its up all the time
just use it for mana restore, its not as run tru as the original build but u can farm quite easily.

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#RfYVUd!heY!acZbZY

i used this when i had like 35k - 40k dps.
first thing zombiedogs cdr then id change your mainhand .get manajumas with critdmg lifeleech%

btw items with yard increasing also a nice additionl due to the passive "mana"globes
