They could bring back diablo whenever when they wanted... but uh we don't really know how Adria did the ritual to put the black soulstone in Leah. But if the black soulstone wasn't destoyed we can expect any of the prime evils to come back

as the warrior (Aiden) he becomes the Dark Wanderer --> The lord of terror in Diablo II

as the rogue she was driven mad and becomes the Blood Raven

as the sorcerer was driven insane and sent to arcane sanctuary where he calls himself "The Summoner"
