I was wondering, if your weapon has 3xx-6xx lightning damage, Would a +lightning dmg soj compliment the avg dmg( find no need for cold soj tbh)? Also does it work with the Light dmg from WKL?

No. The elemental type on soj doesnt matter except cold. And cold doesn't even work with FoT since its lighting skill.

Big bonus on wkl is the lighting SKILL dmg only. So it works with FoT and Cyclone. It doesnt give bonus to Bell which is holy skill.

As a new player to D3 and Monks I dont know which skills I should be using or the best way to bind the skills to the keyboard.
(Ive also only got about 500k in the bank. How much would I need for a PvM monk?)

All classes can farm at the equal rate. It's hard to say one is the best at it.

But yeah, monks are fast.

1 question regarding WoL mechanic:

On MP6, i tend to 1shot myself when i cast WOL-Explosing light on reflect packs.. why that? Because when i use WoL-Empowered wave rune on the same reflect pack, my hp doesnt drop at all...
Im confused

Maybe you hit each and every one of the pack when they had the reflect on? Since the explosive light goes through everything?

What's your armor/life/all res? You get more dmg when your ehp is very low.

are you running with lifesteal? because life stolen gets calculated after damage dealt, so when the empowered wave gets cast, because it's actually 3 hits, you should get life in between each hit. however, exploding life is one big hit, so you'll get one huge amount reflected on to you. if that is more than your life pool, you'll die before you get anything back from your steal, lol.

this. one big hit compared to 3 separate hits.

learn to use some common sense.
