I'm not sure how you guys are seeing the benefits of Air Ally over serenity in these builds.  Even with TR i still find myself in trouble needed an invuln ability here and there on mp7 and up when if i get surrounded/jailed quickly on top of some nasty affixes.

Still trying to figure out if I like using rising tide or quickening better, seems like with over 45% crit chance that quickening if hitting more than 2-3 monsters is like an instant 250 full spirit.

Basically, the Bell build has 2 optional slots.

Main attack: rising tide / quickening / tele
I don't have issues generating spirit, and I like tele, so I choose FoT

Air Ally can tank and has a chance to generate 100 spirit.
Again, no SR issues, I like serenity in case of nasty elite combos.

It just depends on your preference.
Go with whatever you are comfortable with.

yup the beauty of bell build is you got some optional choices.
hell if you wanted you could use cyclone strike and suck in stuff if you wanted to just fuck around n actually make the game fun, or put in lashin tail kick with the range rune for some LOL kicks.

It was SO FUN.

I think the dmg is insanely high that gives us back so much life whenever we bell the mobs.

Would be get even easier once we get full used to the playstyle.

But yeah, it was fun. Super intense elite fights non stop. haha

ya the BIG dam is like instant heals.
i shit myself i didnt think my monk was gonna be able to handle mp7 trollolol style (havent tried mp8 yet, prolly could do up to mp10 but i rather go for killspeed.) with the bad defensive stats and ALL spirit regen passives lol. My armor was at 3.8k (totally not enough if you ever went back to FoT Cyclone setup lols), and i had like 400 something all res since i just using some random piece of shit Inna belt i mf'd 2 weeks ago (didnt bother even buyin an all res one).
And to my surprise i actually did very well.
Just dont stop attackin with bell and you will maintain your constant heal.

love it. Clearing MUCH MUCH faster then my ww + hota build which has more survivability defensive stats lol... but i guess All out DPS just out heal everything.
Only time i do die is from succubus armor debuff and if i bell something while their reflect is active. <-- dont think anything can survive high mp reflect with like ... 1k armor lol (or whatever amount 3.8k armor goes too after a succubus armor debuff).

Just have to wait for the armor debuff to wear off and then its no problems when vsin those reflect packs. I have to disicipline myself to not go bell crazy in those situations :)

Added you.

Btw, damn.. I was pvping in public game for a bit waiting for my lunch.

The game was 4 player ffa, and this monk guy called me out saying I was being a pussy for going back to the town every time I killed someone.

He wanted to do 1v1 in a separate room. I said okay. I was changing my skills and gears for like a minute. He called me a pussy like 100 times on the chat line. His gears were very good though.

Anyway, I killed him 5 times in a row and left.

Kids these days. So weird.

Regardless of skill level or who beat who how many times, I agree that this is super annoying behavior. It really is just my playstyle preference, though, and of course I wouldn't be a complete asshole about it like this guy was. I prefer the challenge of uninterrupted combat, killing someone a second time when you're still weakened from the last go, etc. To me it feels cheap to run away and regen after every skirmish and totally breaks the continuity and excitement of a FFA system. But, that's just my preference. In a duel setting, 1v1 or whatever, I definitely appreciate the importance of starting on a "level" playing field.

Maybe I'm used to 1v1 duel. 90% of the pvp that I do is 1v1 against jsp guys who want to try me.

In the pub games, I really don't care of I die to someone. Who cares right?

And I do stay in the arena and try to go killing spree a lot of times. Sometimes I go back and other times I stay.

But if someone call me a cheap pussy for going back to portal after a kill. I'm gonna make sure to do 1v1 and beat the shit out of them every time.

That's just not the right way to express the opinion.

If it seems cheap, could have told me in a nicer way at least.

Believe it or not, I'm considered as a very good mannered pvper on jsp. Lol

And should I make a separate thread for monk pvp with bold and red title?

How you guys doing in pvp? Not against noobs but against pretty good ones and high ends.

I think a new pvp separate thread is a good idea. It'll separate the two and also give "ownership" of the thread to you top-end monk guys who are now maintaining this thread.

Yeah dude, he was so furious.. other 2 guys who were in the game were like dude calm down wtf. And he was getting at me for like 3 mins before he finally told me to do 1v1, so he can show me how it's done.

And yeah, he couldn't kill me a single time in the pub room as well as the 1v1 even though his gears were fking amazing.

Another funny thing is that when I went 4-0, he spent literally 5 mins trying to figure out what to do with gearing and skill set up. I was like dude i don't want to waste my time here, just come at me one more time. And he was like stfu and wait. My set up must be wrong. Just wait you pussy.

I killed him one more time and just left.

Something was definitely weird in his head seriously.
