Blizzard does not track what you type, it's not like you're sending out a message for everyone to see, and possibly report you - which then might grab Blizzards attention, and even then you are highly unlikely to get banned.

Blizzard DOES have records of every message sent through the servers, but if you type something on your computer, and then erase it, Blizzard can not see that.

no they didn't. Those were people using cheats trying to blame wine. I'm using it exclusively since game launched and wasn't banned.
