I'm currently running with this (sub cyclone strike for bells - I was dual wielding and switched weapons)

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Veranor-1613/hero/1339118

This is not top-tier equipment, and the ammy was crafted.  Had to spend a lot of time after a 7 month absence picking apart the AH to find lowball deals.

The most notable was the Skorn, which was on the AH for 5 mil.  It had been up for about 2 secs when I pulled the trigger.

I've still got a LOT of work to do to improve this guy, but he is ripping apart mp7 with lots and lots of bells.  Bells are everywhere lol.

Ultimately I want to dual wield, but I've noticed that even with scaled DPS similar to with the Skorn, the damage was considerably less.  I venture that's due to main hand damage, which is why the Skorn provides me with 1.1 mil crits on wave of light.  Also, am not using blinding flash because yes, it does provide a bonus, but its got a CD and I'm lazy to wait for it to pass.

Love to hear everyone's thoughts.  I'm still working on this guy and will continue to do so until I reach PL 100.

EDIT:

This is the build I'm using right now.  Subbed heal for flash at the last minute.  Changed my mind lol.

If you are using a Skorn, it's much better/faster to go with full spirit regen passives and use TR with Bell.

I thought about that, and tried it out. I would agree with you on that; however, the passives weren't enough to keep it perma running. I need more spirit regen gear, and that stuff is expensive at the moment. Plus, as I understand it, I need to dump the attack speed gear as that increases the amount of spirit required to channel TR yes?

Lol

Veranor you just gotta better manage the spirit. You should be fine.

The only spirit regen gears that I have are helm and soj.

Helm was 18mil and soj was 15mil.

Whats ur budget anyway? I'll give you advice on how to upgrade.

I've got some stuff on the AH, but after that, I should have roughly 50 mil later today. I'd be happy to get some pointers on the TR build since I'm clearly lacking insight.

Oh, and the item on attack speed I found here:

Thats true for infinite TR.

Bells R Us build is centered around Bell skill. TR is only to move from pack to pack. If you are using the three passives / 2 sps gears / circular breathing, you should have no problem TRing from pack to pack ever. Just gotta manage the spirit better.

Attack speed is actually great for bells r us build since you can spam the bells faster and cuts down the annoying animation between casting bell and moving.

Ill be on from 7pm pst today. If you are on around then, ill pick out the gears for you.

I won't be on today (cst) as the wife owns valentine's day.

I'll check back here though. Thanks for the help.

This is what you and Jet were saying about 12 pages ago. Maybe just jet though. Anyways, that number is a lot more realistic, I can deal with that. lol

Sorry for the confusion kylezo.

I saw screen shots on a different thread and they were critting for some crazy numbers in PTR.

Just tested with Ghom

My MP7 Bell setup with reduce ruin will crits for 1Mish first 2 hits
same set up with extra dmg ruin crits about 1.7M

And my dps EF & WKL setup crits over 2.5M with the 1st and 2nd hits. (combining all 3 hits are over 5M)
Can't really see the 3rd numer .... too many yellow numbers flying around.
