fast question:

i'm going to finish act 2 soon, is the "difficulty step" from act 2 to 3 bigger than from act 1 to 2? (plz tell me "no, it's smaller" T_T )

2nd fast question:

since lot of you are using FoT with Thunderclap... do u use also another "fast moving" skill (like charging strike) or just Thunderclap?

Yeah, the melee ones do hit pretty hard too, even the regular monsters, ie. fallens etc. Could be just my playstyle, i rather go stand in a large group of monsters instead of running scared back to last checkpoint so i dont have to run so far after dying :P

Or you could just do enough DPS that you can kill them before they reach you. :P

It's smaller, but not by very much. Like in Act 2, Act 3 is its own gear check... but in a more incremental fashion.

ty,
what about the 2nd question?

atm i'm using Dashing Strike with the 20% dodge buff along with FoT/Thunderclap or WoHF/Fist of Fury, it is a very nice combo to rush between monsters... i can engage ranged & summoners as a flash, rush back to meele who are attacking my ranged friends while having increased dodge all the time... but ofc i feel i lack of dmg cause it is not a real offensive skill like sweeping wind or something else could be...

I was thinking about changing it or changing my main... somehow i must have a tele/dash skill + a dmg one

surprised you're able to run a build without heals/ccs and not die a zillion times.

blinding flash, breath of heaven, and serenity are kind of givens in inferno monk builds, unless you're doing a 2h caster build. there's usually no room for dashing strike, as good as it is.

any talk about using multiple sig spells up in here?

like theres that one passive skill that gives you 8% ed for each one you use, i look at that and think hmmmmmmmmmm

plus lets say you use thunderclap to tele into a mob, that counts as the first hit, then you could use crip wave to drop the dmg, for the second hit, and finish up with keen eye on the third hit to boost your def.

I do Have on my 1-2-3-4: Serenity (Ascension), BoH (Blazing Wrath), Blinding Flash (Faith in the Light), MoC (Overawe)
Left click: FoT (Thunderclap) or WoHF (Fist of fury), (i swap them each game i make, really cant decide which one is better)
Right Click: Dashing Strike (Blinding Speed, 20% dodge for 3 sec)

Give it a try... it works like a charm (and i have only 13,5k DPS buffed, 36k HP, 5500 armor and 611@res)

any idea/experiences about how to kill dia? (inf)

700 allres, ~2.1 ias, 18k dmg, 30k hp, 6k'ish armor

with shield..

~700 life on hit

managed to kill him with the following stats, like 2-3 days ago:

note, that those stats are not the standards ones, since I bought that unique Tzo helm only for IAS + 25 Life per Spirit spent, and also a random +12% movement speed boots

normaly its like 850 allres -- also no, I dont have 33k dmg, only 21k (its the 3 sec buff from Blind)

u can see the skills on the bar.. passives: dex-> armor; transcendence; owe
