Exactly. Against rend and run I actually just switch to a skorn/overawe and try to kill them before they can run from the first encounter.

What are the skills a tempest rush monk uses for paragon runs?

depends how much spirit regen you have. there is a tr build thread on strat section, can look it up there for tips.

Thanks again Monkster, I really appreciate your help. I bought a BT Chest for 6M. I also upgraded my shoulders (6M) and bought a new belt (800K). Then I dropped an amethyst in my helm. My EHP went from 464K to 868K! I just ran 3 key runs at MP6 with ease! I did die a couple of times, but it was dumb gameplay on my behalf. I can stand in molten and as long as I'm attacking I'm gaining HP. Each run took me 20 - 30 min though so I definitely need more DPS.

I was away from d3 for a long time but returned 3 weeks ago. With my 10m igg i geared myself following the 1.0.6 Tempest Rush Monk by Sherkas.

MP0 paragoning since then, i moved away from skorn TR build and geared for a DW setup. I expect to increase MP for key farming and ubers (MP3 now), got 25m budget for upgrades. I know i need better weps, can you sup monks give me some advice about it?

Vile wards or shoulders with vit.
Nats ring on left finger. With boots you get the 7% CC, so even the worst nats ring will be a solid upgrade. Dex/Single res/ias. Base dmg if possible. (buy this 3rd)
Echoing Fury. High base DPS/Dex/Vit/base crit. This will give you a HUGE dps boost. 20k+. (Buy this first, spend ~10m)
OH - Go for Dex/Base crit/LS/Socket. (2nd upgrade, spend up to 10m here)
You can get higher dex/vit/res on your belt.
Rare bracers *might* be better depending on stats. Look for Dex/Vit/Single res/all res/higher CC.

Getting bored checking AH for upgrades :\
Budget is growing at least, up to 230m, but i still can't find a good glove or ammy upgrade and nat/vws are crazy expensive for more dex without losing ehp.

yawn, eventually i'll snipe i guess.

Think it makes more sense to put all 230 into glove+ammy or save for other slots? some of teh gloves and ammies you guys have got for ~100m just don't seem findable right now.

I sold out today. Dropped my stylish archon chest and Inna's helm for a Inna's chest/mempo.

10k dps and 100k ehp is my reward, looking like every other high end monk is my burden.

i see lots of people go for 2 pieces nats and innas. why not go 3 nats for +130 dex bonus ? as i see it, go with nats head,boots and ring for +7cc +130dex bonuses, inna's pants + belt/armor (depends what u prefer: witchhour belt or BT armor). wouldn't it better ?

Cause nat helm is crap compared to inna helm+ inna pants lol...this is the thing. People use bt armor if they use inna helm cause BT is way better for ehp boost. But for those that want to use mempo, they are forced to use inna chest to maintain the 130 dex bonus (way too much dps loss if you wear a bt + mempo lol... Pretty mych negates the benefit of usin mempo cause it ends up being a "600m inna helm + bt chest" but as a mempo n inna chest if you did that LOL.

Theres a reason people use the same shit cause everyone tested out everythin n we all now know what is BIS or what works best. I mean you can go ahead n use nat helm, but it isnt efficient enough over inna helm which can be double res stack or big all res + 2.xx spirit regen dependin on your build/pk needs.
