Even though healing with time of need buffs my resis from 576 to 691?

yes. the dodge and armor is more "protection".

Ok cool thanks. I also am trying out using 2 spirit generators

I use FOT with thunderclap on left click and deadly reach with keen eye on left click. I like getting the armor boost it's really helping out right now

Hey guys, I dropped my monk awhile ago to play DH but I really don't like the play style of the DH much. I've gone back to my monk and am enjoying him a lot now. I'm in A3 now. Here are my stats with dual wield. My dex seems to be retardadly low...

Your dex is low and your attack speed is low, especially to be dual wielding. Also, not using a shield puts your armor way down.

Im currently sitting at 1022 resists and around 6k armor. I'm contemplating investing in a String of Ears because i figured the reduced damage would have a larger effect than anything else. I am just starting A4 inferno, would i be wiser to do something other than that? It seems that my resists are out of balance with my armor, was unsure if melee reduction would help balance this.

Can you send me a private message about how much that String of ears makes difference ? I was thinking exactly the same. I'm having 1036@ res without buffing, 5200 armor, 42k life and 13k DPS, 2.2 attacks per second with shield and sword (777 LOH). and I find act2 even too hard for mf. Not to mention act3 raping from regular monsters, propably no need to talk about champions..

is "damage reduction" is where String of ear 20% goes too right?

I notice the value of 100 dex belt vs. 20% string of ear is nearly the same

just keep in mind that String of Ears only works against melee mobs. most deaths as a monk is against ranged mobs/abilities (at least for me)...

Yeah, the melee ones do hit pretty hard too, even the regular monsters, ie. fallens etc. Could be just my playstyle, i rather go stand in a large group of monsters instead of running scared back to last checkpoint so i dont have to run so far after dying :P
