Tboner, thanks for this excellent guide on budget whirlrend barbs. I now have most of the stat goals met, and I'm at the point where I'm not sure where my next best bang for gold upgrade is. Mind taking a look? Also, I'm open to suggestions from anyone who knows their barb stuff on what to do next for upgrades.

And LOL, the reason for the character name is that my account got hacked and when I got it back I had a level 60 barb waiting for me that he or she created.

Thoughts and/or suggestions? I just got back to the game and upgraded accordingly.

I typically have brawler on but it was not providing much help in mp10 a3 w/ 3 other people.

well built

really hard to say what best upgrade would be, i would say either ik helm or skorn for dps.. Ik armor for HP, you can ignore bracers/amulets since you can craft for those



yea brawler is for high density areas which only a few places in a3 are dense enough for it

i would work on getting crit chance on bracer slot, whether you want to get cc lacuni or get ms ice climbers then use crafted bracers up to you

Great job Tboner! I have never used a barb before but after your simple guide I took the plunge and tried it out. Followed the guide as best as I could and after a week of playing it is awesome! I love it, MP10 solo is very easy, however I want to add some more damage so I am more effective in a full party on MP10. Here is a link to my character.

I was thinking possibly an upgrade to witching hour? I feel that to upgrade any of the gear now is going to be big bucks!

in my opinion you want at least a 5.5+ LS skorn if you are going to use WH, what is your budget?

so ive been helping ppl build up there chars a bit lately and if im gonna do that i might as well have you all look at my char/build and see if im doing anything wrong or should upgrade anything
i like the standard ww build, i dont think im gonna change that up at all

edit: i found i hit a bit harder fully buffed with ik belt and brawler passive then with wh and bloodthirster passive
