I know My hellfire ring sucks working on that but what is somthing major I can do to improve my dmg.


Things I know and will come in time.

Shoulders need better roll
Neck needs better roll
Hellfire needs better roll
Cant afford cc mempo atm

For barbs most important stats are cc and asi when it helps u break another BP and then CD granted u have enuff all res/armor to survive. at ur budget, id aim for about 600ish unbuffed all res with about 5-6k armor.

Avg dmg on jewelry is very good for dps out put.

Then u need 25% ms either on boots/bracer or bracer/pants.

Other than that, cant really give u any other tips lol, thats what ppl engage my gearing service for. And also, theres no fixed way to build a barb, i just see whats available on the market, then start piecing things together and making trade-offs between pieces as I go, all about adapting.



Definitely gotta up ur DPS. Look for jewelry with cc + str + asi + avg dmg should give u great dps boost. Also, get a better mainhand/offhand. Mite wanna look into getting echoing in mainhand and a fast weapon like a sword/dagger in OH to boost ur nado ticks. Given ur paragorn lvling, prolly dont need to use a SOJ better off getting another dps ring cause being able to kill whites if whats going to help u lvl.

so i sold my monk and have been gearing my barb was wondering if i am doing anything wrong. it works great from what i can tell i just need a bit more vitality and i should be good.

is there a certain amount of res/armor/life i should be aiming for? and i heard the aps breakpoint is 2.33 or is it mor complicated than that?

I'd look at upgrading ur ring to something with cc (at least 4.5), asi (at least 8 or however more to get u to ur next nado BP), avg dmg (min 40), str and either all res or vit/socket as a bonus

Could also look towards upgrading ur lacunis to a higher cc (5+, 9%asi, str and 1 bonus attribute (vit/phys res/armor)

Alternatively, just save up for a crit mempo, U can get like 4% cc one for okay prices now.



You got some good gears but I wouldve built the barb differently. Ur basically losing 18% ASI cause you opted to go for rare pants and no lifesteal on ur weps which isnt really the best choice.

2.33 gets you to a particular nado BP and its what most ppl go for cause its attainable, dont remember exact number but i think it gets u to 10 bps assuming WOTB and zerker rage buffs. hard to reach without innas and wh.

Would've loved to gear u a barb on urbudget, could've had some fun getting some godly shit

Well I've been taking your advice and slowly upgrading my gear. I now understand what needs to be upgraded.

so i should have used innas pants and witching hour? when you say aps bp do you mean the character sheet or do you actually have to figure out each weapon speed? what would be the advantages of hitting a faster breakpoint

load up your profile in d3rawr, on the skill dmg tab, it tells you exactly how many more attack speed you need to hit the next breakpoint. It's like the most basic stuff for ww barbs. You should read up on some guide man.

more breakpoint means, more ticks on your nados which means more dmg. it's all about off screen dmg.
