Its called Stealing Session, must be that. They sniff the session reffering to ur acc/Character and they can instalog it bypassing Account name and password.

I think its this 100% Sure. Happend the same on a game i played. They have fully acces to that character. ITems / storage. (Not sure if storage) but basically its like they spoof ur character.

I havnt been hacked, and havnt played public games at all yet. But out of the 5 people i know in rl playing, 3 of them got hacked. (one had his characters deleted... lol) And it happened to them all on the same night... after server went down fot its rando 8 hr "scheduled" maint

Some players still play when servers go down, last time server went down me and a party made a new game before the server went down,
joining you in a server that was already patched while everyone who didn't join a new game right before, got kicked.

Just saying it happened at the last server downage. which was yesterday night or before...i dunno. Went to bed... bright side, blizzard responded to 2 of them in less then 12 hrs with a "account" reroll or some crap
