Godly gear constitutes gear that has vita/dext and +50 all res at the least.. You will likely have to sacrifice mf gear to wear sufficient godly gear which is what i'm leaning towards doing and giving up my 75% mf.
My goal as far as godly gear would be to find items that have 60+ all res and 40+ cold res.. that way i should be able to reach 1000+++ resistances and hope to hell that it pays off.

I'm also on the 2nd act2 boss however the biggest challenge is finding a group of people that are also strong enough to hold their own against normal mobs+ .. And yeah i skip alot of elites too as much as possible. I've downed a handful of different types but if they have too many aoe damage buffs it's near impossible. And vortex mobs are very difficult as well.

EDIT: I'm going with a dual wield build right now @ 11.8k dps.. i figure if i'm going to die i'm going to get 1 or 2 shot anyway with or without a shield.. I'll use my mitigation talents to stand in mobs for 5-6 seconds and dish out as much damage as i can then run away till my cooldowns or up or die trying.

yea when i hit my mantra it we almost fill me half health so i can in most cases stack my dmg mantra and it heals me also cause of my hit life steal and ontop of this all my gear has life per second , seems like my build is coming together the issue i am runing into is which i use for my secondary what are u guys using my kicks i seem to get the most dmg but shit alot of times it moves me after i kick and i lose a few attacks in between and take alot of dmg , anyone suggestions?


also you guys still even uysing boon of protection at all now that its nerfd?

you it can use it, but the effect was taken till it will be replaced with the next patch...

i simply use sweeping wind on the 2nd mouse slot.

So... Disentombed Hulks elite packs. I can never kill these guys and they just pummel me. Any strategy for them?

Ignore them,... they just hit too damn hard

This is what I'm using currently in inferno A1. You could probably go more offensive in Hell, but it's a decent base with good spirit regen

Heya all monks!

I'm myself too currently in A2 inferno. I have no problem with the normal mobs but can't kill most of the elite packs.

Have been using it for a long time and I have often managed to kill 2 elite packs at once in A1 inferno without dying, but I'm now thinking that I should probably tweak it a little to be more effective in A2
Any ideas?

10970 Dps
46500 Hp
5000 Armor
280 All resistances
33% Dodge
19% Block
15% Crit
72% Mf

Any ideas appriciated! The build works like wonder in a1 inferno though and worked with worse gear too.
