I really cannot pick out one from that list. I think, in order for the game to meet my standards, I will just need it to be as similar to Diablo II as possible, but with better graphics, new items, quests and character classes, just to name a few.
Diablo II is the only game I could ever play for more than a week at a time because of all the different things you can do while playing. My favorite parts of Diablo II were the storyline, quests and how well the game let you personalize your specific character, whether you were a PvM player or PvP player.
With the different variations the game offers, Diablo II was a success because of that and I can only pray that Diablo III doesn't turn into World of Warcraft. I always thought of Diablo II players as "special" gamers and the statement I always liked was "you're one of them" relating to a "Diablo II gamer". Diablo players separate themselves from other RPG game players and I could sit here and tell you why, but I don't want to get off subject.
In conclusion, I don't think there is one specific thing I will be looking for, but if I would have to pick something I'd go with "tradition".
