Im gonna try swapping 5 gems on the chest and pants for extra 12k life and just go armor passives. I should still have about +140k unbuffed with shield and my hf.

Looking to add in 1500 lps atm.

Curious, I see a lot of people using won khim lau's with 3% lifesteal, 22-25LD and socket(Crit damage).. they have dps on them of over 900... is it not worth it for me to get one with similar stats but less dps, 900 dps WKL seems way too pricey.

I just upgraded my blackthorne's chest armor from one with 45 light resist (my stacked resist) to one with 333 more armor (instead of light res) and 24 more dex. This dropped my total resist to 798 (compared to 848 previously) but boosted my armor (without enchantress) from 4797 to 5142. I plug these numbers into an ehp calculator and it looks like I actually lost ehp by switching to the new blackthornes. This is confusing to me because I thought I had plenty of all resist but needed more armor. Should I switch back?

In game, it looks like my dmg reduction from armor goes up by 1.66% and my dmg reduction from resist drops by 1.19%. So this should be a net gain of 0.47% dmg reduction, right? Why is the ehp calculator giving me a loss in ehp with the switch? I tried both d3rawr and rubensayshi's calculators.

Its should be fine.
My 937 compared to 875 one is about net loss of 8K paper dmg.



Every site seems to calculate ehp differently ... can never figure out diabloprogress.
Using my stats for calculations.

+333 armour ..... +32,967
+ 24 dex ......... + 9,888
- 45 res ........... - 37,935
Net gain of 4920 (according to d3rawr)

Weird

Well I could get a blackthornes with the +24 dex and 45 res instead of 333 armor. Looks like +50 res > 330 armor even with ~800 res already. Kind of annoying cuz i spent a lot (for me) for this blackthornes with the armor.

OK, playing around with gear yesterday... trying to increase ehp.

Bought a BT chest with 274 vita (old one had 200) other stats are pretty similar.
Good deal for 12M (maybe he meant 120M)
I screwed up yesterday, too. Sold gloves for 1M instantly, but I meant to sell for 10M. Win some and lose some.

Anyways, I also equip my old BT pants with 180 vita and +12% life (+ set bonus 100 vita)

Dmg dropped to 183K.
Life = 67K
Ehp = 1,063,286

With 67K life & 1M ehp ... I should be able to outlast haunt.
Gotta try pvp with this setup ... char still can't update yet in PTR.

Armour and res works best together when its about 1 to 10 ratio.... I was over 7K armour in 1.05 dual weild
But Monks can never get high armour now due to STI nerf (unless you shield up)

I am at:

Armor: 5528 (63.7%)
All Res: 718 (69.52%)

I tried really hard, and this is the best I can do for now.... trying to balance out
I can do 5100 armour and 780 res if I switch to dual res helm ... but wont be as balanced.

Hi guys, so I have a SOJ with 6% arcane damage, 8% FoT, 2% spirit, 29% damage against elites that I bought a month ago very cheap

How much do you think it worth atm? I want to sell because I don't use it very often and my monk need better upgrades
