May i ask the wizzy community for some advice as to how to progress my character in terms of gear and itemization. After the patch im really lost as to what I should be focusing on. (Crit % / dmg Vs. Straight up intel stacking, etc etc). I was hoping some of you pros out there could look over my character and provide some general advice as to which items I should be replacing. After the patch I lost 40k deeps, from 90k->50k and runs just seem that much slower. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

maybe replace your ring and pants for enough int to give you more dps? Thats all I can see maybe get another wep with the same dps and int/vita/higher attack speed but thad be pretty pricey, pretty gg stuff really

here are my new stats i replaced that useless ias with crit and critdmg, with a new weap with socket and good stats im back at 110-120k

edit: crit nerf probably coming next so we can all do the least amount of damage possible =)

So Im making a wiz now after the patch that fucked my monk and WD .. . At level 36 currently. I'm going to have about 40m from selling my monk gear..

Most of the guides/builds I've been seeing online are outdated, can anyone give like a rough explanation of what I need? Like what set items/legendaries .. base stats etc.

Crit chance and damage mainly?

Will I be able to farm inferno ponies with 40m gear?

Lol nice stuff man! I kinda like the amulet :). I really need to get more crit damage on my wiz, sitting at only 140 with 41% crit :(. Lol at all that int. as well ;p

ps. Says 95k after buffs :p

why do ppl use venom hydra and not mammoth hydra? they both do a DOT.

mammoth hydra is worthless, shouldnt need any explanations.


personally i use arcane hydra just as often as venom, the splash damage from orbs / temporal flux is what i've found works best for me, venom for bosses.

why is mammoth useless? i never use wiz before just got to 60 and haven't been using hydra so yeah
