1H and an orb with high damage is preferable. You're okay for defensive, but your DPS is way too low to be efficient without spending innumerable hours jumping through A2. Find a better weapon, find a better off-hand (around 100-350 damage), and make sure you have at least 2.0 attack speed.

The new patch made runs easier

also made bosses quite a bit harder and the game feel like slow motion
I prefered the die fairly often get one hit pay 10k fast to repair pace to the slower die every now and then nerfed ias pay 50k to repair turtle pace

I completely agree, the game feels really clunky with my Wiz since the patch.

The good news is you should need to kite less. Im yet to play 1.03 but am kinda curious.
Also gonna finally try arcane orb for real, finally found me a nice offhand with +arcane on crit. (8% crit, 8arcane on crit, int vita average damage , was so happy! :p) Paired with my 41% crit atm it should be easy to spam orbs as primary attack, no?

what weapons should we use now?
currently using a dagger+offhand, dagger was 1.71as and 886dps now its at 1.58as/816dps
should i switch to 2hand with major crit dmg
or quick 1hand with crit?

any advice on cydea for a wizard using hydra/bliz/piecing orbs ?? i cant kill her at all after the patch, tried her several times and decided it wasnt worth it if i keep repairing.. too much spiders now ?
also im building more of a tanky wizard so i only have 35k dps buffed but have about 500-700 res and 8k armor

Can someone please update what are the 3 passive skills to be used?

yeah shes much harder now plus since she spawns them right under you either poison/spiders attack you without even being able to have a chance to kite em ive gotten her down to about 1/4 with 40k dps and about 2.0 aps and get killed way too many spiders cuz they last longer now so you have to spend a bunch of time killing off the spiders and at the same time kill her in 3 mins before she enrages, timers on bosses are retarded
