lmao dude. I also think it's pretty funny that like every monk from the HI END MONK THREAD is crapping all over his shitty monk and he is still pretending his char is good. Obviously just trying to take some rich kid for a bunch of igg...I'm pretty sure he knows it sucks.

After reading the post by the guy with a "6.5b bid" on that monk, I'm a little worried. That's either a multi to troll up higher bids, or someone about to get terribly ripped off.

DUDE. You are in the HI END MONK THREAD right now. We know what the fuck we are talking about. That monk is terrible. My monk is worth maybe 250m altogether, and I have the exact same stats - "no deaths MP8, few deaths MP10". another 100m and my monk will probably be fine in MP10 solo. If I added 5 BILLION GOLD to my budget, I would be BUTT RAPING this game with my monk.

I can buy all sorts of expensive ass gear for my monk and say he's worth 5.5b, and he'd die in MP5 if that gear was terrible for my class. Might as well just buy the gear and use it effectively.

Guys would you ever recommend dual-wield in HC or is shield the only way?

Of course it's viable, but why would you want to use a shield when dual wield does it better 99% of the times?



HC is always shield pretty much unless you are godly geared up.

+770dps/+100dex/+100vital/+80% crit dmg/+2.6% lifesteal/open socket.

Get that first.

I need to do some upgrades. I've spent around 60m on this build so far and jumped from 40k dps to almost 100k. I've can comfortably do mp5, but start running into trouble quickly in mp6. I also have a TR set that gives me about 147k dps buffed using a SW SOJ. I know that I could easily upgrade my offhand for more dps; however, I tried it with a 780 dps Rune Sword that bumped my dps by 18k but found myself killing mobs a lot slower than with my WKL which I went back to using. I found out the importance of black dps the hard way.

I'd like to find a nice balance between dps and survivability. I have 190m to spend, but am hesitant to spend too much before 1.0.7 changes are revealed.

Sell both your weapons and pick up a EF with high dps/high dex/vital/open socket for MH and rare with +770dps/+100dex/+100vital/+80% crit dmg/+2.6% lifesteal/open socket.

Spend like 50-70 on EF then 30-50 on Rare.

And spend like 10mil on BT chest with +60dex/shitload of vital/+120 stacked resist.

and a new ammy with the rest of your gold. dex/vital/cc/cd average dmg/life%/armor/res are good bonus.
