I can switch out the aughilds with maur helm and reapers wraps. I also have a magefist and fire soj I can equip which would give me around 55% fire. But as stated, my dps would take a large hit.

well, the CC and Ias from your ring - can be rolled from Royal.

it does mean doing a lot of runs but eventually ul get one. the soj wont only add fire damage but other useful stats.
reapers is in my opinion is a question of preference. some would disagree and say its viable.. i use it, but
i can manage without it. both works.

my dh - still needs upgrade but i clean T6 pretty fast, and its well balanced with fire and damage.
sure i can pump my damage more.. but you need balance because your spenders are fire.

So do you recommend scaling back some in order to boost fire dmg? If I use aughilds, I can't use magefist. If I use reapers, I lose the bonus of aughilds. Kind of a tough choice

And yeah I've been doing bounties like crazy for a new ring and nothing decent yet

if i would need to pick between those two my option will be Reapers + Mages..

you move around all the time as a DH so Aug is nice but its also not as viable as it seems. iv tried it..
i liked it a lot, and went back to Reapers and saw that its kinda the same in terms of survivability.
i used to think Aug is amazing. not anymore

i would scale it with Mages \ Reapers \ new Royal.. and Mard helm on the way with the coolest look

i found a magical point of 1m DPS (roughly) with 70% ele dmg... great balance spot (10m toughness)

moved back to phys dh after a week as poison dh, such a pity they will remove ps runes from dhs. they actually worked

eh in return we get cold, so theres the upside!
