On a scoundrel

Basically cold % Dmg soj with a windforce slow and knock back on multishot

It's the most disruptive build on a follower
Only problems are trying to proc hysteria consistently or having a scoundrel with survivability or the expensive option of both

20% damage from cold blooded and 10% damage from hysteria

kay. i went through my typical route, and he only died once (because he stood in molten)

time to sell the buriza T_T

Oh, wow, so % elemental damage is added to your damage?
Wow, that differs from my knowledge, thought it would only add % if you did that elemental already

I think the soj/wf is just to apply cold damage to as many mobs as possible and then with wiz passive cold blooded applies 20% more damage to enemies affected by cold damage so we would do an additional 20% to those mobs regardless of the type of skill we are using, if I have gathered that all right.

On a side note, what do you guys think would be a better option... I thought that perhaps a bit more resistance would be a good idea for higher lvl games come 1.0.5 so I threw on 3 piece zuni for the extra resistance. Does that sound like a good idea or it kind of sounds like at higher levels the small gain in survivability may be kind of a mute point. Perhaps going zuni ring/boots and replacing my chest with a nice tal chest for the dps? How much does a nice int/vit/res tals chest generally go for?

No it's the scoundrels damage that's cold damage

You benefit from monsters effected by his arrows with cold blooded and you can also get a boost from his hysteria which is why scoundrel is so useful

I will no longer prefer enchantress because she loses 3% out of her 5% armor boost
The ias wasn't the primary reason I used her.

In 1.0.5 I think it's better to use a scoundrel for its potential utility if you solo

I mean if you wear an item with % elemental damage, it adds to your current dps even if you don't do that elemental damage?
Unlike diablo 2, you had to do fire damage to get % fire bonus

yes it adds to your current dps

read OP's opening post

Note there are 2 types of + % elemental damage.

1) Adds X% to "Elemental" Damage - this adds X% weapon damage as that element, and will affect all skills even if it's a + 6% Poison damage and you are using an Arcane skill. Examples are Zunimassa's bboots, Triumvirate source.

2) "Elemental" skills deal X% more damage. This only adds X% more damage to skills of that element. Examples are Tal Rasha's set bonus, Maximus's bonus.

The first type of damage bonus is amazing, the second type is mostly unless except a few cases and special builds. 1 Very useful one would be a high roll Won khim Lau for monks, but this is not a monk topic so we won't talk about that.

put in 30m into scoundrel's build cause bored and its pretty worth it

multishot procs crit easily so the 10% damage on hysteria with his 12.5% crit is pretty consistent

still using scramble build with enchantress til 1.0.5 hits.

hysteria shows up in your dps
cold blooded doesn't );
