I'm the same way I hardly play but Arcane Orb takes so much Arcane Power, do you use Astral Presence?

Yeah, astral with glass and flux.

I just tried Arcane orb with tap the source (only viable rune) with Astral presence and Temporal Flux - works wonders in comparison to low damaging blizzard. I got +10 to arcane power on my orb so I have 110 arcane power total which is enough to spam up to 6 orbs. Use magic missile with Atunement rune - spam it with arcane orb and you'll get even more arcane regeneration. Rich people can afford a lot of crit hit stacking with Arcane power on crit items - makes your AP almost infinite.

Thoughts?
I don't see how everyone get so insane high dps, unless they have close to 3.0 aps..
As Perverse said, the more hp the better.
Vita, int and allres is prio on gear but hard to come by good rares with a reasonable price..
I had leading bids on several very good rares on AH the last days, but the auctions always ends when I'm at work and I'm ALWAYS outbid' during that time...

You can get way higher dps haha but the rest of your stats are good and if you are killing fine then I wouldn't switch

Well yeah obviously, but how much is realistic without boost from asi (attack speed increased) ?



I guess that's a tiny upgrade, but I guess all the gems above those you find cost a lot..

as for the asi its hard to tell without knowint the asi on your current gear i mean if you have int gear w/o asi (which seems kind of probable based on your int)
you may not be able to boost it up alot but it always helps asi/ias nerf or not and a wizard should always have an asi theyre comfortable with
if you have all asi gear and low int peices try upgrading to similar gear with more int (your vit and res are above average btw i assume u use prismatic with 50k hp)

as far as the gems go i wouldnt worry about it so much but even getting 10 int would probably only be a 100 more dps or so i may be wrong there though i dont feel like mathing today

edit: i mean one of the biggest things is just staying alive though i wouldnt sacrifice too much for more dps unless you dont get hit much kindof give and take unless u get all end game gear
