My fire monk, I still have not got a cindercoat 3 soc with good rolls. I'm happy with black thorns tho i can tank on higher T's just throw on healing mantra.

I would love suggestions to make him better. Yes i want the burning axe but the rolls were soo bad i couldn't replace.

What would you guys suggest?

I was running into spirit issuses, got rid of some ias and its better now.






I also maxed out on reduce resource with paragons points.
Currently at 68% cdr, epiphany downtime is 4.3 secs.
I'll either use SSS or serenity to tie me over. Perma TR is very useful to avoid dangerous situations.
Using my sledge and with TR / epiphany, it feels like the stun procs. Anyone else notice this.

Found nemesis bracers, every shrine will spawn Champion elite, but usually only gives me 1 yellow.
Must have found 20+ swords in the last few days. Keep getting the green sword, barber and other junks.
NOT a single TF or SoH ... rng licks balls.
Tried to enhanced more cc on my Magefist, nothing after 20 re-rolls, getting too expensive.

I wanna try Druin's lightning build, but I need some lightning weapons.

Started playing again 2 weeks ago and tried a lightning monk, I'm liking it so far but I kind of hit a wall with T4

This is what I'm using right now, it works in T3 and below, everything dies so fast it doesn't really matter if I can't survive long, a quick dash out, heal, dash back in is often enough, but not in T4.

I haven't tried a CDR build, I can craft Crimson's and Born's and also have an average Kekegi (728 dex, 4.5 crit and 7% cdr with a socket) sitting on my bank, would that fare better on higher torments than the build I'm using right now?

Also rng is fucking with me. I keep finding the gloves, helm and shoulders for the 6piece set. I have 3x of each of them now.

I need a damn WKL and odyn... Even a mediocre one lol

I do find it funny that monks with stacked up toughness and palm as main damage dealer are called "zero dps monks", when in fact palm most likely deals the most damage in your group.

Just last run I pulled 3 elite packs on Rift boss, killed them all in one go and reduced the boss hp by 50%, what other class can do that?

Sure the build is useless when soloing, but group play the power is immense. I love doing 800M palm hits.

Anyone try moonlight ward on monk?

Have trifecta 7/99/9 + 22 arcane and 256% on the effect... wish I had dex instead of IAS but whatever (had to mystic the chd)

anyone got the focus+restraint ring combo?
This ring, I think, can outdps a soj/ring combo and can be maintained easily on a monk "cycle type" attack.

Forexample,
With SOJ/ring combo....
100%elemental damage = 20%amulet+20%soj+20%bracers+2x20%weapon
30%Elite damage = 30%SOJ
2.6x

With Focus+restraint Ring...
80%elemental damage = 20%amulet+20%bracers+2x20%weapon
2.7x

8% cooldown reduction
rolled a socket

3 second proc (my old one was 2)

and 2 clicks later I got the thousand storms armor. Im thinking if I can get a nice borns wep I could roll the armor for the 15% damage boost.

edit: ahh crap that means id have to use the gloves and the shoulders cause I cant swap helm... okay well I can get the 500 dex bonus then lol. sigh
