ias has nothing to do with the elemental dmg bosnus u find on triumvirate , tal amulet or zunimass boots. Base dmg gets increased by a percentage value. The whole range of min max affixes on jewelery offhands and physical ranges on weapons . A bonus is applied to your whole basedmg , if u use a fast weapon the dps gain will be even higher.

Top rolled triumvirate + top rolled double crit echoing fury is a nice combination for example

needed more res so i bought a crit chance mempo

even at 80 int and 9 attack speed 4 crit chance it only lowered my dps by 1k

old helm was a 6.0 crit chance 188 int tal rashas with only armor

you did not understand what i was up to. basically, the only contender for best dps source is chantodos force, which gains its advantage over, e.g., rare sources or the occulus by its attack speed, which cant be found on other sources. triumvirates have the elemental bonus instead. but because jewelry will improve in 1.05, people should be able to get more attack speed from there, so that the relative (!) effect of the attack speed on chantodos will decrease. at the same time, the elemental bonus of triumvirate will be buffed. therefore, i conjecture that triumvirates will be the uncontested #1 source for dps.

What kind of stats should I look on a triumvirate?

i played quite alot ptr now and it is kinda 'depressing'

before the second nerf during ptr, you could really switch skills between blades, meteor, ww to get good procs and make builds run.
Now it is rly just 1 viable build left for higher mps (boomsorc). Even Archon is totally fucked and off the map, at least for mp4+.

Wonder if that was the intention to get back to the 1.03 standard ww/cm build and erase all others.

i can only hope they change again sth, because this now is the exact opposite of build diversity. At least for people that want to play higher than mp4...

€: i watch the ZISS stream, where he played a ~600k dps archon build in 1 player mp10 game, even that not rly viable lol^^

As per the discussions here I have just spent 50m on a Triumvirate. This is the largest purchase I have ever made in D3 and I am nervous like a bitch so would like some knowledgeable men to tell me if I had my pants pulled down.

Have black weapon: yes 1100 dps (min dmg is about 500 and something)
DPS upgrade: 17,000

ias is pure dps ( faster tickrates of some skills or averaged damage increase on others. the value of ias will never devalue ion chantodo's and btw 9 ias will be still the max roll on 63 amuslets and rings , not 11
