There is a very limited amount of players that have even reached Inferno yet, let alone broken the 100k DPS cap. It's an incredibly small portion of the player base and while it shouldn't be completely discounted, it shouldn't singled out, either. Eventually, everybody in Inferno will hit that 100k DPS mark without having to farm all day for weeks. Once this happens, IAS will be remembered as just a simpler way of reaching a high on-screen DPS.

DPS doesn't always determine a character's killing speeds (especially when considering the Wizard). This will, for example, not effect me in the slightest--except for the animation, if they change that as well.

yeah if they change animation speed im going to be pissed, we can always rise up as a jsp wizard community and go burn blizzard down though

edit: seriously how funny would it be to be watching the news and a bunch of larpers and shit are standing outside of blizzard using "spells" that blizzard made for d3 to burn it down, lmao Meteorrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! *shoots missle*

I don't know why, but I chuckled.

We shan't, however, forget the "JSP 4 LIFE!" signs that I've already started working on.

What I'm seeing with the IAS nerf is that monks/barbs will complain much more than ranged classes, as it's greatly reducing their LoH/spirit gain/etc

Thats why I said what I said, I really think the latter will happen. Hydra will also get a big damage nerf, and besides nerfing ias is like the stupidest decision they could make, it is not OP in any way ... at least once you reach inferno it feels like its never enough. Every single bad design decision they could take, they have taken... theyre focusing on the wrong things to fix.
