Hey guys.
Got a quick question, forgive me if this has been answered before but 71 pages is a lot to cycle through. Basically, here is my fire monk build:
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Buzzard-1907/hero/37896321So I'm pretty happy with it so far, other than the amount of resources I have dumped into getting a third socket on that god damned cindercoat...
I know I obviously need a SoJ, could probably use a belt upgrade, and I have not been able to max out my OwE BUT ALL THOSE THINGS ASIDE...
What should I look for in a weapon? Thunderfury seems to be a unanimous #1 and is very elusive, what would an off hand option be? Should I go for a devestator for the fire buff? Does the disparity between attack speeds become an issue? I mainly run in and LTK til I can't anymore, keeping SW up using CW when I need some spirit.
Any weapon advice (or other advice) would be greatly appreciated, and you guys are making me regret this fire build and yearn for a CDR monk but I've come too far not to see this gear set up through.
Thanks fellas.
For fire spec, I like SunKeeper and Sankis combo the best.
It's better to not have a high APS on fire monk.
Put a Diamond on your helm. And try to get your total CDR up to 45-50%.
Then you can run no generator fire monk spec which is one of the best for monks at the moment. You are heading to the right direction.
You just have to mix in couple CDR here and there and use Beacon of Ytar. It's not difficult at all.
I would swap out your pants and boots for Crimson. And add in 8% CDR on your shoulder.
Change your Serenity to Inner Santuary Forbidden Place. MoH rune to Circular breathing. SW Fire Storm to Epiphany Desert Shroud.
