Can't help but notice that virtually no one uses tempest rush. How do people get away from bad situations such as walls, vortex, getting surrounded etc? Do you just suck up the death and try again while keeping a more useful skill in its place? I would really like to ditch it personally and use something better, but without it there just doesn't seem to be a good way to get out of tight spots.
Also, a lot of people seem to be using sweeping wind. Is this a case of people just following along blidly because someone successful used it or is it really that good? I wasn't really impressed with it early on in the game, and figured its usefulness in mid to late inferno would dimish even more due to massive HPs and less opportunity to be in the middle of groups of mobs to make full use of it.
The best way to not get trapped is to continually move whenever something tries to surround you. Fast attack speed combined with high life on hit can sometimes keep you alive, serenity as an oh shit button, blind as a temporary damage stopper, etc. I have though about trying tempest rush but usually when I die I either made a mistake or I died so fast I couldn't have saved myself by being able to run out.
Sweeping Wind not only gives you huge extra damage, but it's AoE. If you use the Blade Storm rune, 3 stacks gives you 60% damage swirling around you constantly, increased by all buffs that increase your attack damage. It's my favorite ability in the game.
