Came very close do Death last night...

I am having serious FPS issues with my laptop. It has an SSD, a core i7 and a 680M with the latest drivers.. Turned off AA and lowered some settings, but when i have 4 ppl in the game and big mob fights happen my FPS can drop down to like 10....

Any suggestions???

I suggest you to keep your internet shut down for couple of hours, or, shut down your laptop for couple o' hours man, don't play it risky :P

Also , I am really enjoying this thread. Looking for more updates when your issue's fixed.

i have same issue with my laptop and also some ppl who i know, they are also playing with laptop.

Seems like D3 is "heating" our laptops like hell, CPU is almost burning, it's one issue which start dropping ur fps. 1 suggestion, turn all other applications off and play with fullscreen and get cooler under ur laptop. Always play without battery, only with plugin on.

Also this helped me a lot :

Click Start

Write in search : " D3prefs "

It will find one, delete that and run ur d3 again ( btw after u delete it, it will make new one as soon as u delete it, but thats fine). It will resete ur in game graphic settings but u can chance them back.

I made all these true and things get better. Still im having Fps problems but im deleting "D3prefs" everytime before i start playing and i can go with it.
Im also thinking that my laptop cpu is almost at the end of the road. Cause if im playing without cooler my laptop shut down in 20 mins.
