Between making my last post and now I level from paragon level 23 to almost paragon level 26. I'm dead serious.

A huge slowdown comes from picking up loot and killing elites when people run act 3. Also most people have 30% or so bonus xp from their helm, and I have another 30% from my Cain's set. Lastly my barb has very close to 80-100% uptime on WotB as well as 15% movement speed from frenzy, meaning I'm trucking through trash mobs at 98% enhanced movement speed.

It works, but you're going to give up almost all of your drops. I got less than 1 full inventory of loot in that time span.

Worth it for me because (a) it is crazy stupid fun and (b) I was getting sick of spending the time IDing loot and sorting through crap to post on the AH.

Was running around in norm trying to farm up some items for my staff when suddenly, like a brick to the face, it hit me.... I saw a "Massacre!" callout for killing 70 mobs in chain... gave same xp bonus as I was seeing in Inferno doing these Crypt of the Ancients runs.

Long story short... ensure you have no companion, no thorns, and no follower... go into a normal a3 game in battlefield... PULL the whole field to the bridge... ANNIHILATE!

It's a tiny bonus dude. Massacre gives you something like 100-130 bonus experience per kill, and each mob in inferno is giving you 4,000+ experience in act 3. Doing that gives you a whopping 2-3% bonus experience. Better than nothing, yes, but it's not something to change your strategy around.

While leveling to 60, kill streaks worked out to a bonus of up to 10%+ experience per kill when you did the math. But for some reason they made paragon levels require staggering amounts of experience (the first paragon level requires ~4x the final regular level) and massively buffed the xp/kill of mobs in inferno but left the kill-streak bonuses largely unchanged.

xp bonus is nice but it don't gib you enough...

it is a perk but the meat and potato platter is still laced with the gravy of killing inferno mobs.

chaining is not that important... but it is nice.

Killing shit SUPER fast is always > chaining.

While I must agree, it was still worth noting... while I got NO xp from the mobs at all, since I was in normal mode, I was getting really beefy chunks just chaining kills (which is easy as fuck w/ multishot)

Sounds like a legit way to farm exp, but I personally am so poor, it behooves me to not farm Act 3 and ID stuff.

If I had 200-300m sitting around and was a badass WW Barbarian, I'd totally give this a go.

its not a refined build. there are probably better options. i was using shock pulse > familiar
