u'd need gear with mf + ur main stat if u have that much and dn't ahve to swap out.

311 mf with 5nv swapped out. Seems kinda bad. Really wonder if i should attempt somewhere else. (have hard time at ponies now with dh nerf, with erflect damage it is hard, with reflect + teleport or reflect + shielding = impossible.

@refinery u say u got 3 lvl 63 that's pretty lucky in 30 minutes? How many elites do u do in act 1 and where do u run.

Cathedral lvl 1-3 usually has 1 in each level.
Halls of agony lvl 1-3 has about 2 in each level.
Warden area has anywhere from 1-3 in it.

That's probably why my runs take longer, but I also get 20 elite packs per run. I'm not doing it for pure speed. I'm doing it to stay in the game for as long as possible with 5 NV stacks. So my run is an hour, 20 packs, with about 50 rares per run.

Tried this route and like others seid - just found ilvl 63 every 50 rares maybe - thats not really good and all lvl 60 -62 items had usefull stats but everything too low :/

So far farming act I , 798 rares , 9 lvl 63, 67 lvl 62, 166 lvl 61 , basic MF 258% , nothing really good in total around 4-5m of items .

i just did this run and here are my stats from it:

used my barb only 20% base mf or so and realy crappy gear with dualwielding class canon spec
19 minutes
Leorics 3 packs
crypts 5 packs
festering 4 packs
cath lvl 3 1 pack (just looked next to wp)
watch tower 4 packs + resplended chest and goblin

26 rare 6x 63-62ilvl

this isnt as it was to sneak kill elites in a3 pre-patch, (ilvl 63 dropper non-stop with mf gear on), but yeah one run nest 1 or 2 100k items and the lucky 1mil item every 20 so run.

i dont really get, why people say act1 is best.
i guess u mean its because of high kill speed?
i can kill packs in a2 in like 6 seconds, too, and just ignore the other mobs, until i run in a packs.
in that case im fine in a2, too?
i must admit, although i can run act3 it seems better to run a2, with higher killspeed. "run away" molten mobs in a3 take alot of time.
