Hello, and thank you for the guide. Below is a pic of my current stats (when buffed). I'm posting here because I am absolutely sick to death of "trying hard" and feeling like its getting me no where. I feel like I must be doing it wrong. A1 at this point is a joke, but I can't handle elite packs in the earliest part of A2.

Josh:

Resists are a bit low, your shield is awful. I recommend a Sacred Shield with at least 25% block chance. Watch my gearing mistakes video on youtube.

Armor and hp are fine.

I see you're using a different build, try my tank build sometime. It may surprise you.

is there any reason it has to be a sacred shield other than the block %? im currently using an aegis with 27% block is there a point in upgrading to a sacred shield?

Sacred Shields got the highest block amount out of all shields, ~3,5k to 4,5k.

In fact that's even 1k higher than stormshield, so a perfect rare high block sacred shield with block %, vitality, all resist, % life etc would even be better than a stormshield.

@ Zrave-- Thanks for the response.. Im actually in about the same boat as Powerful, my other belt has about 6k more life on it.. Ive cleared 1/2 A1 inferno and only got stuck on one set of elites, demolished the Sking.. So Im gonna try out the String of a little longer to see... 34k compared to 40k.. Still working on finding that gear..

Btw excellent vid on gearing mistakes, I was able to save several hundred k by using some of your tactics when searching... Thanks :)

I think String of ears is pretty much mandatory on barb. =/ Anyone found anything better?

There is I think like a rare that gives the same stats plus a little extra, but thats on a perfect roll.

I'm having a lot more success in A2 since reading your OP. I do have a question though:

Right now my helm and bracers do not have resist all. With the gold I have, I can't afford to buy rares with 100+ vit Resist all gear. I can however afford "trash" blues with 70 resist all. Should I sack 200 str and 100 vitality in favor of "trash" blue resist all?
