Perverse and I both have wizards with total gear in the 5-8mil igg range

Not positive on his stats, but I'm just running 40k hp/300 resist/50k damage (was originally 30k hp before I self found some stuff off siegebreaker)

EDIT: I've not used frost nova in a long time. Sometimes it just feels like I'd rather just take a hit and be able to tele away. Frost nova would generally be replacing blizzard, magic weapon, or teleport, and I don't think any of those skills should be removed for nova

What's the DPS on yuor weapon, pretty sure my 850 DPS isn't cutting it, but I dropped from 36k to 32k hp too, Idk, I'll post my stuff I guess and you can tell me what to fix maybe?

Also Blur or Galv Ward?

I sacrificed DPS for survival recently; but other than a few thousand more hp and 200 more resists, we have similar stats (although your DPS is around 7k higher).

You'd be surprised what on-weapon attack speed can do. Yes I'm getting weaker piercing orbs, but I can spam a fuckton down stairs or around corners and the hydra is lapping up every last bit of it.

(my current stats are from the life on kill weapon. I'll probably go back to the blue one when it gets "fixed"). Also, my bad for messing up my resists. I replaced my all resist shoulders for one with just physical resist, since the int/vit was much higher

(EDIT 1: I just throw something random on that third passive slot. Usually just blur or paralysis. I'm looking to replace my offhand (76vit/8% life) with a bit more damage (int/crit), at which point I'll probably swap back to blur.

I'd upload some screenshots but I kinda sold my sword in hope to get a better one, bought it for 700k, for sale on AH @ 2.5m and best offer is 2m atm so I'm kinda stuck for a day it seems. By then I hope to buy a new weapon with around 1k dps. Also, your using that Sword for Hydra glitch? Is that being patched any time soon because I could buy one like that probably. And isn't IAS being nerfed too, Idk haha might as well wait for the new patch before I waste all my gold

Killing 9 hydras per second every second! (well, more like 8.61...)

I actually picked it up for only about 350k (I love 1d11hr left auctions). No idea when/if they're hotfixing, but I'd say pick one up if you have random spare gold lying around

In other topics, I have a 910 dps demolisher with 90 int sitting in storage that I found from siegebreaker, and it adds about the same amount of damage as the plain daggers.

My take on IAS nerf, is that if they do it, people may actually need more ias and not less. I'm thinking a 2h will be my "final" weapon just because of the higher potential so ias will always be useful to me

EDIT2: I build computers as a hobby, and what you said there sounds a lot like people who want to build one but never buy parts because they're afraid they'll get too outdated too fast

I only got 400k igg, could get a cheap weapon but I could buy a somewhat endgame weapon with 1k dps once my other weapon sells
I don't understand the hydra gltich, jsut recast and be healed pretty much?

Hydras have 3 heads. Casting hydra while you already have one out "kills" all 3 of the old heads

Also, don't even be thinking about "end game" weapon at this point.

I've heard this is a bit off, but I haven't checked it myself. I am confident that this looks "close enough". I can say, though:
- we're far from hitting the very top end, and even farther from the somewhat top end weapons becoming more affordable
- even with offhand damage, nothing will rival a strong 2h from pure dps standpoint

Not that I know of, but we all know about Blizzard and its amazing policy of fair/balanced/announced "balancing"

As a cheaper alternative, buy a cheap really shitty dps one with a ton of life on kill and just swap to it when you're low
