So, what's with nat's legacy? Is it more expensive? More dps? I know you get some different things from all the stuff, but does it provide a really noticeable boost in gameplay? I've been told that no matter what dhs can't do mp10, but can a legacy nats do mp8?

DHs can do MP10 if they want. It's just shit compared to other classes.

With the new achievable dps its easier for legacy DHs to be able to do higher mps efficiently (when compared to other DHs) the effective dps from my legacy DH compared to that of my 472k unbuffed set does not differ greatly while there is a large difference in dps (my legacy set I get 305k unbuffed)

At that dps with legacy I have achieved/matched a higher level of efficiency than the high dps set in mp5-7 however the main hurdle is that good legacy gear is very expensive. With gear that is currently available and the DH mechanics where they are, my dps set is faster in mp8-10. Of course the dps difference is HUGE 305k to 472k.

If we see buffs to items and DH mechanics I don't see why top tier legacy DH can't match new Nats/innas with mempo specially if they keep nerfing inferno.

Really the main issue here and why you should go non-legacy is gear availability and budget.

Thanks that was really helpful. I do not have the budget for a leg nats unfortuantely, working with a couple hundred mil at the most. Now I'm trying to up my plvl quickly, where should I farm? Right now I'm doing Crater 2 backwards (like a baba xD) at mp3 and I get good xp that way, but is there a better way? Cota? Vota? Alk? I like crater 2 because I can kill everything there without having to worry about dying, plus it's a short run so I don't get worn out lol. I really don't need to find items til I'm plvl 40ish I think, so I just need the best xp route right now :)

I believe you are on the right track when it comes to xp farming -- I don't think you will get more efficient than that with your current budget, and the spiders in this zone give a lot of EXP but that will change when the patch comes at which point a new zone will probably come up as the "go to" zone for EXP

Yersterday my CM friend PL'ed my Wiz. Another friend gave me some decent stuff. Lazy to craft so I took some of my good rolls to my Wizz (Dex proc). Hit 200K buffed.

Guys, that was so funny. When I played this class I realized how far away the funny part of the DH is. I could farm MP5 easily, and we were 2 in the party. Teleport is a great skill, and it's getting buffed lol. It's really hard for me to not sell my DH stuff, I could definetly buy a fucking awesome stuff for my Wizz, but I hope Blizz will consider this class ...

Oh and one of you was right. My grenade build is strong enough for MP10 efficient/fast farming, but it's far beyond CM Wiz.

After a while the min/max damage exceeds the critical hit damage. That's a huge increase though, of 50k dps.

I know I was shocked tbh!

Sold my manti to play around with calamity builds now, bola shot - imminent doom is a lot more effective with a fast attack speed mowing down mp 7 with this skill and impale!

Cluster arrow builds work a lot better aswell (with some cluster reduction, grenadier + cluster grenades)
