Is the full set bonus actually useful?

If you have the legendary items for followers, yeah.

I'm doing it for fun though.

Change your mantra to moh circular breathing.

Sw rune to inner storm. Our use air ally instead.

Fleet footed to exalted soul.

Played around in T6 with my cdr monk.
Survivabilty is decent, but need to really pay attention ....
yes I do die more than I like and kill speed is not the fastest
Epiphany downtime is 5.4secs, with serenity it's 1.4sec danger time.
I TR around alot so I don't get into much trouble, except in small areas or walled.

I really want to bunp up more dmg, but its hard with the cdr slots.
Like Shawyboy said, cdr monk with much less dmg can kill just as fast as other monks.
In T4, my light monk has almost double the dmg, and my cdr monk kills just as fast.

GNK helmet proc damage does increase with Fire% damage, I cannot confirm the belt though.

Definitely going physical zdps monk for group play, it's just something so satisfying facetanking 3 elites in T6 without even taking damage, then exploding everything with palm chain reaction.

Your party loves you for the pulls, tanking and massive palm explosives, what else do you need?
