Spike trap crits for 1M+ against ubers and I saw 1.7M+ crits with monk+wiz in party and you hit 3 times. SP is only needed against reflect on MP4-6, health globes heal enough otherwise.

but the problem with spike traps is that they are not good for things that move and IMO elemental arrow clears a lot faster in mp5 than spike trap.

Plus spike trap is the most boring skill ever, the only time I would ever use it is for mp10 solo.

you are farming in the wrong place and/or don't know how to keep enemies in traps/get them back to traps.
Skycrown+keeps 2-3 is a good place to farm, very few elites that run away from traps.

Man ofc I know how to use spike trap but its fucking boring lol fair play if u wanna push that spike trap>all I agree it probably does.

Skycrown
AC lvl2
KD lvl 2
Rakkis crossing
bridge of korsick


but I randomly run act 4 and act 1 too

I play for fun not for efficiency, spike trap may be better for elites but for mp 5 I would much prefer something different cluster arrow, ele arrow or impale + they kill all the trash faster for me on this mp as they have some 'range'. I own like every dh skill soj a few maras a few DML's I like to change things up and experiment.

Don't do AC2, those shielding fats take so long to kill, no matter what you are using. (Except on like MP0-2 where you can 2 shot the pack with loaded for bear berore shields go up)

like I said I don't care about being efficient so taking too long to kill an elite really doesn't matter to me! AC 2 is prob my favourite place! I play it as a game I don't really level or farm I just fuck about :P

well all round it is better, no idea why you would use spike trap on mp5 unless you are only killing elites? or if ofc ur dps sucks which yours doesn't.
