Personally dont like IK set / unforgiving, and I have heard rumours that the fury gained from it doesnt count towards WOTB timer, if thats true then its horrible to have

and, you need more ias, you need 34% ias from gear to hit 2.5/2.5 breakpoints



Mace MH / EF OH is the best DPS wise, and less fear procs

if http://www.d3rawr.com/d is correct you need a pretty huge Str/Soc/Critdmg echo to outdps a dagger with str/soc/critdmg or a sword with str/soc/critdmg/atkspd

you must not be doing something right, without an echo you would probably be hitting 2.2 aps with mainhand maaaybe 2.5, lowering your tDPS significantly over the possible 2.86 mainhand you can hit with EF

if the nerf happens ill do some tests

If you can get 59% attack speed for 2.86 with EF it's worth it, or else has to be str/soc/critdmg (keep in mind this is prenerf numbers: dps doesn't matter that much on offhand, but it still matters) and then you could a 11% atkspseed dagger and hit the next breakpoint.

IK chest would work, but you could probably find an amulet with avg dmg/cc/chd/100+str/120+vita for cheaper then an IK chest would cost you

Yeah, I thought so too until I compared them: Eventually Mace/Echo becomes better, however, for a 2mil sword/dagger you can get +/- 5k dps from what a 20mil echo can offer. To outdps sword/daggers you have to get in the 40m Echo range to buy the ones with str/crit/soc . Once you get into the 40M+ range Echos, then yes, an Echo will outdps sword/dagger offhand.

Edit: Also, if you can hit 2.86 with dagger/sword it will push a 2-5mil sword/dagger atleast +10kdps over the dps of what a 40-60mil str/crit/soc Echo can give you. (hitting 2.86 with sword/dagger is fairly plausible, hitting 2.86 with Echo requires everything sword/dagger had + witching hour. So it's only for very elite builds)
