So can somebody show what a close to finished mf wizard looks like?
I saved up some gold and am wondering if its better to just save for gear that will take me through a4?
I glitched my way into a3 but even mid a2 is problematic but I don't like the idea of progressing very slowly just to be able to farm the end game.
Anyone willing to share their experience would really help me and I'm sure many others judging from how many people are on this thread right now.

My personal opinion? First go finish Inferno, then start caring about MF on your gear. I have yet to buy a single piece of (main) mf gear. I have a full set of >220% mf gear which I use to loot pony clouds, other than that, I believe, I have 10ish mf thanks to the templar and that's about it.
Nephalem Valor > Mf anyways, as it guarantees you rares once you stacked 5 of it. This will even be more true with 1.0.3 coming.

I'll add my 2cents in too..

I only use MF gear when I'm with my friend (or if I'm with Tyreal) - I'll kill everything, then switch at the last moment while my friend (or Tyreal) deals the last hit.

Otherwise, I'm too busy kiting and killing to worry about MF.

Lol i haven't read any guides and this is the exact build I use! It works amazing although i must say act II inferno is beating my ass!

That's my char atm, I want to get more life and the screenshot is with a 850 DPS sword but I will upgrade that eventually, all my gear has Vit except one piece, I use a lame 70/15 Int/Ias Ring because as you can see I'm quite restricted as to what I can afford. What you guys think?

E/ Bracers and Helm don't have Vit either.

I think you're pretty well set - maybe drop hp to 30 or 25k and bump that dps to 50k. You have more HP and more FRW than I do while the same DPS and res. With the exception of certain elites, A3 should be pretty normal for you..

I've recently upgraded alot of my gear, and gotten higher damage, and more resistance, but now i'm down to 20k life.


I think I should start choosing vita over int or all res, when i'm upgrading my gear? (keeping the same dmg, and resistance but getting more life)

Or should I just keep getting gear with more all res/int (keeping around same health, but getting more dmg/all res)

I thought I needed more life, but your telling me I could go down to 30k life now? and jsut pump my dps? Idk..

You either pump your survivability to the point where it actually matters or (if you like more damage or realize you can't do the former) lose the extra stats "wasted" from force armor and replace with damage
