I don't mind farming lower mp's solo for exp but with friends I usually play higher mp's, usually with my shield barb who is really well geared. I don't expect the same results on DH damage wise but I do wanna stay alive there hence the balance between dps and ehp.


Well to begin with the Legacy Nats set up on DH is extremely gear intensive but once a certain level of gear is reached the efficiency/versatility is amazing. With that said, it'd be great if you posted your Battle.net armory.

As far as your set up goes it all depends on your budget, but since you are legacy your utility will be quite high so I recommend that you go Manticore, but Calamity can work well too.

You will have a hard time reaching a good level of EHP with legacy and maintaining say, 200k unbuffed, you will need Vit and All res in just about every slot aside from the legacy set.

You have two pieces really worthy. Your Calamity, and your Mempo. You can get approximatly 1.8-2 Bo from them (I'm speaking of current EU market). Other pieces are decent, you can get some money from them. Total should be around 2.2-2.5bo imo.
You plan to sell your char to play another class ? Let me guess, Wiz héhé ?

I just remembered why I have found rapid fire shit besides the low dps and only 1 target: enemies that push you or just put nasty things under you will make you burn that hatred really fast with the 20 initial hatred cost.

Yup. The skill is garbage and the dh "buff" is a joke.

The more I play my DH and regarding the recent """""""buff""""""" the more I feel this team is totaly out of the problems in relation with DH's. Srsly, how the fuck they can buff a single target DPS skill when aside you have "Act 1,2,4 see their mob density increased".

This is so stupid, I feel bad for them, they aren't able to understand that DH has a real AoE and sustain problems in high MP's, it's like they cannot resolve this kind of math problem: X + 2 = 3, X pls ? You know the best joke ? My friend (CM Wiz I play with) made a post on official EU forum to hire some guys to farm MP 9-10. He didn't precise any classes. We had like ... 20-25 ppl that wanted to come. No DH at all. 60% barb, 20% Wiz, 10% monk/WD. It's relevant how this class is far behind any others, and that ppl are really bored to see that 1 billion investment won't allow you to be as efficient as barb/wiz/monk.

The skill changes are work in progress. (At least the fire bat for wd)
So hopefully they'll change some other skills too.
