you could, but shattering throw just does so much more damage. i might give this a try today.

could you link your char profile, assuming your using the build atm^^;
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Teerick-1218/hero/44541380i think youd be best to give up magefists over the cindercoat but it really just depends on rolls of magefists vs gaunts and cindercoat vs chest. however, like i previously stated, you dont want your wrath spender to be completely free in order to utilize the healing effects of wrathful on higher torments. which is why blessed shield might not be the best for higher torment... but ill let you know after i give it a try.
