I know, 10 APoC is sufficient right NOW, but we all know thats because of storm chaser rune . I'm praying it doesn't get nerfed and we don't need to go back to wicked wind... I've tried <13APoC with the proc coefficient at .125 and it's a lot more work.

Nah, they won't nerf it that much I think. We are alright. haha And the cm wiz gears are cheap anyways. Shouldn't be too much of loss IF they decide to nerf it a little.

That's why I'm trying to spent my gold on the pure wiz build gears. Should be fun!

hmm, i did some light googling a few days after the patch hit -- so, is it confirmed? storm chaser is bugged with .25 proc coefficient?

atm, i have 0 apoc. so, when i'm not in archon, i swap to an APOC wand that gives me 8% increased critical chance of Energy Twister. it allows me to get it back within a few seconds (3~ usually).

in any case, 13 apoc with how much asi or cc?

main question, still: confirmed that storm chaser is bugged?

The build works really, really well with just 10 APoC on my wiz at the moment. I couldn't tell the difference between 10 and 16.

storm chase has equal or even better proc coefficient than old wicked winds (I even think it's better because WW stood still while storm chaser is moving and refilling cm/apoc as fast as old ww).

I'd get annoyed by switchting wpns just for apoc.. I'd rather go lower dps than switching wpns (because dps does not really matter after certain breakpoints). right now I got 9 apoc and that's totally fine with storm chaser. need 4-5 monstarmons and archon is up again.

hey all, i just leveled my wiz up to 60 and want to gear him up for archon, what skills should i use? also got only a 50-70m budget, what stats should i aim for with that?

It hasn't been confirmed by blizzard that the proc coefficient is in fact bugged.. so who knows if it will be changed in 1.0.5. However, fact of the matter is that there's no reason this rune should proc CM apparently twice as many times as any other rune, suggesting that it is bugged (and most people agree that it's proc coefficient was never reduced in 1.0.4).

For this reason, I will be maintaining at least 13 APoC and above 1.7 attacks per second, in case it does end up being nerfed.

I know switching to an alternate main hand weapon with crit chance on twisters and APoC is viable, I just don't like the hassle of having to swap weapons every time my archon is on CD..
