@Dougal both are acceptable, with lower loh and a larger health pool you'll see greater returns out of blood funnel, but once you get more loh and/or want more damage you'll want to change to hurricane for tornado dropping.

Adding my 2c, this build and its variants are retarded OP. I paid about 400k TOTAL in gear, have about 500 res all buffed, 47k health, 20kdps, and 1733 LoH, and clearing a2 with zero problems. I skipped like 1 champ pack (molten knockback fast dudes with hammers that stick in the ground). It actually kind of pisses me off, because I like playing my monk more..but a2 is impossible without super expensive gear.

I have another question but not really about this build. I have about 1300 life on hit (working on more with another weapon that I can get some crit damage on). Does the off hand weapon when duel wielding produce the same life on hit it would if it was on the main hand.

Thanks for showing us this, farming act 1 can get boring and I enjoy changing skill sets every couple days to get more enjoyment out of my barb and going with whirlwind does bring back some d2 memories as well. Thanks again.

I answered my own question. If anyone was wondering here is what i have been testing:

I have been letting my twisters from sprint do some damage and I carefully watched my life with the twisters hitting the enemies and I believe that they do not add in the LOH from the off hand. I know it sounds weird but my life does not hardly regenerate with my twisters hitting the enemy alone. I will do a little more testing to confirm this but this is what i have gathered so far.

So after a little more testing i have realized the twisters from sprint will add all you other items LOH and add them to your main hand. I have 1350 LOH with 900 on my off hand and when my twisters hit I only gain about 800 life. Now when I WW it's hard to tell because there are so many number on the screen at once but if I use frenzy I get 1000 to 1800 life for each hit.

@Wuss Every ability has it' sown coefficient for procs. What that means, is that some abilities only give a certain percent of loh, or other procs like chance to freeze. I don't actually have the proper numbers in front of me, but I believe Frenzy is 75-80%, while sprint tornadoes are closer to 20% (iirc).

Life on hit is just a stat, it is not attached to its weapon, it's just like strength or vitality. If your character sheet says you have 2000 loh, that's what you have, but you will only regen about 4 health per tick of tornadoes. The upside is you can have a a lot of tornadoes hitting a lot of mobs at once, which is the reason for the coefficients in the first place.
