72+ all res shield
shoulder, helm, chest, bracers, gloves, boots, rings, pants and ammy with atleast 30 all resists EACH. Using 818dps 1h sword.

Takes the right resources, but with the right build you can tank the crap out of act 3-4 inferno. 900-1000 resistances, 13k+ armor, whatever HP you want, high block, hp on hit.

got now ~550@ all resist 9500 armor and 6k dps and still day pretty often in act 2

Yeah with PROPER gear i think barb can solo all inferno, but seems to need like 30+ milion igg to get the right gear and still isnt the top gear atm.. The cheapest gear dont gives all the stats u will need, like 60+ all res with 50+ strg and vita...

It's actually not as bad as you think. Don't spend so much $$ and time trying to find gear with every last perfect stat you want. It's not about dps'ing as a barbtank its about just tanking. Hell Krip did act 1-4 inferno solo day #3? maybe 4? half his gear was blue vit/resist all stuff.

Currently progressing through Act3/4, act 2 is a walk in the park by now but those other acts ... damn shit hits hard. :(

But screw shields, I'm a Barbarian, not some WoW-Tank!

Nah it's my only char. Next highest is lvl 29 WD. :D

It's pretty much farming the AH ... when I entered inferno Act 1 I went to AH to buy gear, haven't really stopped doing it since. :) I feel I could do much more on other classes with gear comparable to this though, it's pretty sad. :(

even with the right gear, what are the main skills that you use to tank/solo?

also when you're in a party does your skills change in any way?
