You have no idea what the game is going to be like. You will go and hunt for items, but pointless? No.
I doubt there will be too many people lvl 60, maybe after some years, so you can wait to whine until then.
Getting to the top rank will mean a lot, but then you have Inferno to worry about, which I think will be an even greater feat.

I loved Pvp in D2, but face it, if you didn't have amazing items or hacks you stood no chance unless you were all playing fair or in a private game.
So don't be a nerd and hit the gym.

all this does is insure d2 and d3 are nothing alike. its more like wow raiding.

d2 was based on cool loot and mfing. this game will not be like that in the least

just go and hunt for items? sounds.. exactly like MFing in d2
If you want to be #1, get world first level 60

If the best part of d2 is pvp, which is still included in d3.. then I dont see the problem, other than there being no ladder ranking.



D3 is also going to be based on "cool loot" and MFing. They even added an entire extra difficulty just for MFing..
