This is also a game coming out in the near future, I highly doubt they'll let adbots run the game, and I'm sure the anti hack policy will be reinstated and forced on the game harder than ever

I thought that i read in an article somewhere that they said they would not go down the P2P path.
May have been mistaken.

I understand about server upkeep but i figure games like that make money a few ways.
so they shouldnt have to get a continual income stream from a customer who wants to play.

Maybe they should charge for the patches they release????

To the person who said D3 isn't as indepth or as graphical compared to WoW is completely and utterly wrong on the graphics subject. Graphics on Diablo 3 are far more advanced compared to WoW. On WoW, you have slabs of grass and/or dirt blurred and blended. As for Diablo 3, you have detailed stone, rocks, brick walls, etc - far more advanced compared to WoW.

As for pay to play, 15$ would sound fair as for such a high quality game. I've seen games far less in quality and far less indepth receive 15$ per month to play (RYL is an example).

As stated many times, please provide a proper link which proves that "d3 will not be p2p". No one has been able to do so.

As of late October 2010, they have said that there are no final decisions on the matter for North America.
