Haven't been able to play much and not yet able to get on PTR, but it is pretty obvious healing blades is OP is hell. So OP it might even get nerfed in 1.0.6 lol.
Anyway I have a question for you guys, why is mistral the new preferred twister?
Mistral is 20 AP per twister.
Storm chaser is 35 AP for the starting twister, and you can click a sig skill to release the stored twister. Meaning it's really 17.5AP per twister.
I currently spam 1 SC 1 Sig anyway, feels like SC will be able to spam twisters at the same speed but at a lower cost.
Also in the same time as 2 mistral twisters, I get to unleash 1 storm chaser twister, 1 sig twister and 1 sig spell.
Sig spell for me is already healing blade in 1.0.4 and in the 1.0.5 patch this will only get a lot more powerful (dps buffed, range buffed, healing (no crit req) buff. Seems to me SC will be cheaper AP to spam, proc more*, do more dps, heal more.
Also the sig twister at some point used to have a higher proc rate to the storm chaser base twister proc, Haven't been able to get on PTR to test if they lower sig twister's proc rate.
The only downside is the stored twister travels in a straight line and quickly away from you, which could mean it's not hitting as many enemies. Is this the main reason why people choose mistral? Just because it travels away from our char slower and will do more ticks on a mob?
Slightly out of the loop at the moment, maybe there's something I've missed completely.
/e *proc more is purely from the crit proc of the sig spell, whatever it is that you choose.
