nn bbv, too much cd, from stuff can get mana regen yea, but if someone want to use shield --> no regen, maybe HOC --> no regen, and good weapon is hard to find with vita, socket or crid dam, good dps, maybe loh, and mana regen or max mana on it is near impossible to get ( i mean over 1k dps) :)

maybe, but only if they pimp these attacking skills, atm these char are too slow. ( from the money of your itemz, u can make dh/wiz/barb, which kills about 10x speed, but enough to swich bears:) )

In case you're wondering, we’re not touching Splinters or Zombie Bears this patch. While these are the two most popular witch doctor skills right now, it’s probably not just because people love the sound of Splinters or the look of Zombie Bears (though both of those are pretty cool). Instead, their popularity is likely due to how attractive these skills are, both in terms of damage output and overall feel. To help compensate and open up more build options, we’re buffing a lot of other skills to make them as appealing as Splinters and Zombie Bears.
Speaking of how a skill feels, the reason players avoid many of the lesser used witch doctor skills has to do with the skill feeling "slow." For example, Firebomb, Plague of Toads, and Corpse Spiders all have animation timing issues which are being improved for 1.0.4. In general, all of these skills will cast faster, which will make the class feel snappier and more responsive. We're also doing a straight damage increase on many skills including (but not limited to) Acid Cloud, Firebats, Firebomb, and Spirit Barrage

Hey guys, looking for some help with my mf WD, just running a1 inferno for now (till I upgrade more) but is there any input besides gear upgrades to help me mf a little smoother, because some elite packs are just wrecking me.

The gargantuan is also going to be hitting for 100% weapon damage and will get the same bonuses the dogs have received. On top of that, a blue said that they were going to be scaled with the owners life AND at lvl 60 they will be receiving an additional 50% life.
"Very similar, but not identical.

- Single-hit damage cap is the same. The cap scales with the player's level, Armor, and Resistances.
- Max Life will scale with the player's. On top of that, at level 60, Gargantuans will receive an additional 50% of the player's Max Life.

Gargantuan damage is also being increased from 25% to 100%, but the trade-off is that they can no longer trigger procs."

Now that he is a solid tank he will actually be able to contribute to our DPS. Assuming there are no other nerfs, this and the dogs should make up for at least some of the damage we are going to be losing. Not to mention the fact that there might be a buff to the amount of mana we can get from that SH rune. As more changes are revealed I think we will begin to understand more about why they decided to change vision quest.

My WD's dps is not very high, just 160k around. In my point of view, you guys said you are going to buff WD and the buff is bigger than what we expected -.- Bear and Acid Rain are the only things which WD can bring on the table, and now you are going to take that away. For what? Zombie Dogs. Are you kidding me? You are now nerfing our best dps and best survival skill and buffing something useless. Every class has their op skills, but I don't think those zombie dogs can let WD stands out at this point compare to bear and rain spam. I am really disappointed at this patch preview. I have a mage as well, Energy Twister nerf is expected and I am fine with it. But for WD, you know you are trashing this class. Stop telling us bear is not intended for spamming. If you nerf WD in this way, with the same gear, give me 1 reason what makes WD better while I use 2 buffs Archon and spam laser from beginning till the end? not to mention the lol mode of BARB.

I'm terrified of them taking away my zombie bears.... wtf more then 20 second boss fights? no bear trains from standing in the corner or near a wall or on stairs? ...I'm really afraid i've got my head in the sand on this one, and should be selling my wd asap.

edit: on a side note, i only fucking made a zombie bear wd because of the ias nerf.... and now this?!?!

IMO WD updates didn't buff each class it made WD almost unusable!
