Since you are only in nm I suggest you get a high dps weapon and a little more vit. Also you can always use more str and life on hit.

I am yet to use the AH for any items, would it be worth finding a weapon through there or just play through to hell and hope I find one?

Well you can find a 700+DPS one hander for around 250K igg and it will help you blow through. Nm and hell.

Depends on how legit you wanna play and your budget.

Well I have almost got my first 100k lol, think i still got a way to go before i get to buying a weapon like that. I "farmed" a lil bit earlier, but I only ran butcher and azmodan on norm MP10. I sitll don't really know the hotspots for mobs, i only have the quest names and waypoints to guide me.
