since when? unlike mf, gold find specifically says FROM MONSTERS. A chest is not a monster... In the same way a jar you might break isnt a monster...

I honestly have no proof, besides people saying they've seen larger gold drops from chests and jars with more gold find.

E: Looked on D3 forums, as usual Blizz doesn't answer simple questions, but some people stated it works on everything even though it states from Monsters.
