I run Inferno Act I with ease. Here are my stats and setup:

Unbuffed
DPS: ~30k
Life: ~38k
Crit Chance: 18.5%
Crit Damage: 50% (super low, I know =/ )
Resists: 204

Skills
Left Click: Poison Dart > Splinters
Right Click: Zombie Charger > Zombie Bears
A: Spirit Walk > Honored Guest
W: Soul Harvest > Siphon
S: Fetish Army > Head Hunters
D: Grasp of the Dead > Unbreakable Grasp

Anyone have some input as to what I should be aiming for to run the later acts? About have much resistance should I have? Is there a good idea of dps? How much more life would be required? I haven't tried Act II in a while, but it was pretty rough (getting owned by normal packs). I have made some upgrades, but as I don't have much gold (500k), I would like to plan out my character for when I do.

Res need to go up 550-800 depending on you game play...more dps is all ways good

Gonna need a ton more crit dmg and crit chance. If you have good regen on your ceremonial knife+helm+offhand, keep bears, if not, I recommend locust swarm. Priority should be 1.6 aps > crit hit = crit dmg (without losing life/resist).

Wanted some criticism of my build and possible tips for the transition to Hell Difficulty.
I can't log on at the moment so I don't remember my exact stats (I think I was at around 12k life and 3500 DPS with 5x Soul Harvest), but my Witch Doctor is 47 and I've already cleared all of Nightmare. Just waiting to finish off 47-50, so any general tips for Hell and desired stats on items would be much appreciated.

crit dmg/chance ,maybe swap out the zombie charger for dogs -60 sec cool down great for your vq passive and meat shield...depending on what skill you choose , bears/fire bats for off hand dmg,r some thing else.Will decide what your needs are item wise,buils sounds decent , and if working for you keep it up

Zombie Dogs just die entirely too quick, and I meet VQ with the 4 cool downs that I have. I tried Fire Bats and it was pretty good, I just think Zombie Charger with Explosive Beast out performs it.
The only other build I tried that can compete as viable was a varient of Zombie Dogs and Sacrifice, with as much 'chance to spawn Zombie Dog on X event' skills/passives as possible.

-Hex has nearly 100% up time but it can be iffy at times, so if you'd rather use Grasp of the Dead or get rid of something else to have both, it's still viable.
-I left out Mass Confusion because it's a 60 second cd so the uptime and potential chance to spawn Zombie Dogs is low, and I'd prefer a utility spell like Spirit Walk.
-Honestly Zombie Handler and Spirit Vessel are must haves, but if you want to get rid of something else for Circle of Life there are tons of other viable options for a third passive.

The only real complaint I have about this is that it seems to destory all of your dogs at once :/

I'm currently leveling a witch doctor. I have several millions in Wiz gear that i can move over, and i'm looking for a build.

I've played with two elite WD's, and they both used Acid Cloud. What is the cookie cutter Acid Cloud build?

My wiz gear that i'll be using has: 6000 armor, 40k hp, 36% crit, 1000 loh, 1700 int, 800 res all. I'll be able to be tanky, and LoH works great with Acid Cloud i've been told. What other skills should i be looking to use?

Acid cloud requires a lot of mana. So usually you use vision quest.

My own build varies depending... Still playing around. But zombie bears/acid cloud/grasp/spirit walk/hex/soul harvest. Bad medicine/vision quest//jungle fortitude/blood ritual depending. But mass confusion/gargantuan/zombie wall/horrify/bbv are good choices too, each for different reasons and depending on your gear and play style. you can also go acid cloud/firebomb and your fab skills and take ptv. Fire bomb/acid cloud are the best procs we'd has.

Mana regen and increase help a lot especially if you can get 50+. Keep your cool downs up, acid cloud and zombie bears everything. I like getting some freeze/stun and other effects.. As you can essentially stunlock everything. It's pretty cool.

Thegrave#1634 if you wanna check it out.. But my gear isn't that great.
