I actually interested in the non-WotB breakponts too. I spend about half my time in non-WotB for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I pick up more yellows than most. I know it's not efficient to do so, but it makes me happy :) Secondly, I play quite a bit with my son, and he can't handle much more than MP0, and it's hard to keep WotB up when I'm killing monsters with one hit.
If you're 1 shotting monsters, it doesn't really matter what your bp is, does it? Why even bother with wotb if you can't keep it up? I usually run mp0 with a build like this one:

At the beggining i want to thanks for this topic, so good job, so many infos about barb, ive readed whole 53 pages but im afraid i didnt understood some things.
1st - i have no damn idea how to calculate my ias breakpoint i know u were calculating it here 10000 times but im just stupid like a tree or my math skills are ending at 2+2=4 ( even this im not sure ).
So please could anybody calculate ir and tell me how many more ias do i need to get this 2.5 minimum ? ( including EF change if needed ).
Next question, does lifesteal from bloodthirst works the same as lifesteal from items ? Id like to change my EF to socket with LS or good Chd + LS ( low budget - up to 100 mil ) and than change bloodthirst to animosity to improve my hota oh btw im using double ww spec with HOTA. I play mp7 fast runs but sometimes i do mp9 - mp10 for keys/mf and sometimes i get seriously heavy damage so nxt question. Improving my armor to 6xxx will help here alot ? should i buy VW or maybe change bloodthirst to Tough as nails or Nerves from steel ? You'r saying taht EF in offhand doesnt need so big dmg but propably it will strongly decrease my HOTA damage so 9xx dmg will be a must here am i right ? Another question, u said that axe 1.3 doesnt synergy with EF. What that means ? should i change it to mace or isnt so important ? Sorry for my chaotic post with bad english but its not my native language. And please - help me Thanks in advance.

This is also a ww barb thread, not a general barb thread, so some of the advice might not apply to other specs, but they work well for ww/nado. Case in point being a low dps offhand. Fine for low-mid tier ww barbs, not fine for HOTA barbs. Synergy between two weapons means that both will require around the same ias% to hit breakpoints. In the case of mace/EF, they are both maces so they are obviously the exact same. EF and sword will hit different breakpoints but require the same ias% to break their respective bp, so they sync well.
